What is MPR?

MPR(Multimedia Publication Reader) is a total solution of integrated digital publishing and multimedia reading. By applying the digital information technology, MPR combines print publishing, audio/video publishing, electronic publishing and the internet. It is an application system covering publishing and the simultaneous book-reading, video-watching and audio-hearing.

MPR solution has a whole set of technical support system which integrates 2D code encoding and decoding technology, digital opto-electronical identification technology, audio and video compression technology with modern publishing and printing technology.

MPR solution mainly comprises of four parts: MPR code, MPR publication, MPR reading tool and MPR network platform.

The whole process of MPR publishing is like this: the publisher prints MPR codes denoting the audio or video content related to text & pictures on the pages of the book, and uploads the electronic file with the audio/video contents to MPR Reading Club (http:// en.mpreader.com). Readers then download the files from the website into their MPR reading tools. By touch-reading the MPR codes with MPR reading tools, the simultaneous book-reading and audio-hearing or video-watching of printed books can be realized. Thus the books can be understood more easily.
